Featuring That Sci-Fi Guy and Nash! Because I couldn't pass this opportunity up. 
Bear with me, folks, this is my first time doing something like this.
Since a couple of people asked me about how exactly I color my hair in Photoshop, I figured I'd finally do my best to answer their question and perhaps pass on my "wisdom" to any who need it.
Now, the method I use is far from foolproof, and it'll take some experimentation on your part to make it work with your style. That said, I hope you find this useful!

In all seriousness, I love the way you draw hair. I used to shade with the burn and dodge tool as well, it can really be amazing for highlights and such things, and you pull it off especially well
If I had one critique, it would be that your smudge work looks a little rushed sometimes. Here it's most visible on Nash's beard, some of your smudge strokes go into weird directions, screwing up the overall the flow of the hair. Your hair looks best when it all goes in the same direction :3
